Occhii is a luxury fashion brand based in New York City focused on making distinctive, well-made statement pieces that are meant to last. Our work centers on the use of special materials paired with expert construction to create clothes that feel familiar at first glance but reveal something new the longer you look.

Our definition of special materials is intentionally broad. We work with deadstock and vintage silks & wools, fabrics with cultural significance, leathers that reach their full beauty over time, and materials that are simply high quality. In all cases, our intention is that our pieces remain relevant in the wearer’s wardrobe.

We currently produce everything in small batches with local factories in the NYC area. Staying close to our makers is important to us for quality control and because many of the materials that we use often require hands-on problem-solving and careful craftsmanship. Being present in the production process lets us treat each piece with the level of attention it deserves.

The name Occhii is inspired by the word for “eyes” across several languages. For example, in Italian, it's 'occhi'; in Romanian, 'ochi'; in Polish, 'oczy'; and in Slovenian, 'oči.' These linguistic ties span Romance and Slavic languages to the universal concept of sight.

Sight sits at the heart of how we design. At the core of Occhii is the belief that you have to see beyond what a garment appears to be at first glance.That might mean discovering value in discarded textiles or recognizing the long life a garment can have when it’s made well and is timeless by nature.

Our clothes are polished with a slight edge. Wearable, but with a flare. They’re designed to be kept, reworn, and lived in. Pieces that stand out quietly, hold their shape over time, and become part of someone’s personal wardrobe rather than something disposable.
